Hanuman Ansh Is Still Running Strong After 6 Weeks — And the Numbers Are Getting Bigger

Most films slow down after a few weeks in theatres. Hanuman Ansh has gone in the opposite direction. The spiritual drama has now completed 42 days in cinemas and has reached around ₹309.15 crore in worldwide gross collections, according to Sacnilk data reported by multiple outlets. On Day 42 alone, the film collected ₹6.25 crore net in India across more than 9,000 shows.

The Film Took Time to Find Its Audience

Hanuman Ansh did not open like a typical big-budget Bollywood release. Its first week brought in only about ₹1.08 crore, while the second week was even quieter. Things changed as word of mouth started spreading. The film’s collections picked up sharply in the following weeks, with its fifth week alone bringing in more than ₹90 crore net in India. Its sixth week has also remained unusually strong, reaching ₹80.25 crore by Day 42.

The film was made on a reported budget of around ₹1.75 crore and tells the story of Neem Karoli Baba, whose real name was Lakshman Narayan Sharma. Vishal Chaturvedi wrote and directed the film, with Shobhinaw Satyaa playing the lead role.

Hanuman Ansh Has Crossed ₹300 Crore Worldwide

The latest figures put the film’s India net collection at ₹243.38 crore and its India gross at ₹287.40 crore. Overseas earnings have added another ₹21.75 crore, taking the worldwide total to ₹309.15 crore.

That performance has now placed Hanuman Ansh among the biggest Hindi films of 2026 by box office. NDTV reports that it has become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year so far, behind Dhurandhar 2 and Border 2.

What makes the run unusual is how late the film found its audience. It started with limited shows and modest numbers, but stronger audience response gradually helped it regain screens. Even in its sixth week, it is still adding several crores a day.

For a film that started with barely ₹1 crore in its opening week, crossing ₹300 crore worldwide is a dramatic change in its box-office story. And with the movie still playing in theatres, Hanuman Ansh has not quite finished its run yet.
